Only five Zerouno’s will be built with each costing $1.6 million; with the carmaker announcing it’s first car has been delivered this week. That very lucky first customer is Steven Lismont, who is an important automotive sector entrepreneur and car collector” who travelled all the way from Belgium to collect his new supercar from Italdesign’s headquarters in Turin.

Featuring a state of the art carbon-aluminium modular frame with a complete carbon-fibre body, the Zerouno is powered by the 5.2-litre V10 engine from the Audi R8 plus. This gives it the standard 610 horsepower and a whopping 413 lb-ft of torque going to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. To tame all of this fury, the Zerouno features massive carbon-ceramic 8-piston brakes on the front with 6-piston stoppers at the back.

Italdesign claims that the Zerouno is as quick as its powertrain sharing sibling the R8 plus, meaning a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds with 205mph of top speed.

The second car in the limited production run is complete and features a more racing-inspired exterior; it’s also close to double the base cost at $3 million which is pretty much Bugatti Chiron money. In terms of the future, the company is proposing a drop-top version of the Zerouno if there is sufficient customer demand.
